Worldwide first undercut point fixing for glass with German approval

Undercut point fixing FZP-G-Z

The Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt) in Berlin issued a German approval for the fischer Zykon point fixing (FZP-G). Therefore the revolutionary development is state of the art. It can now be used for challenging glass facades without an approval for a particular case. By using the undercut technology our company put the first point fixing for glass into practice which is not penetrating the whole thickness of the panel. The FZP-G-Z is an undercut point fixing made of stainless steel. It consists of a cone bolt, expansion ring, a plastic cap, an adjustment washer, and a nut.

The smooth exterior face of the facade offers architects more creative scope and at the same moment reducing dirtiness and cleaning expenses. The FZP-G-Z is offered in two types for glazing with tempered and laminated safety glass. The glass panels can be enamelled or coated and can be used as support for laminated solar panels.
