fischer bit range
Three quality levels for ultimate work convenience
The new bit range from the fischer group of companies in Waldachtal has a solution for virtually every screw or screw-setting problem. Three design options – Standard – Diamond – High-grade Steel – deliver perfect fit for the best possible drive, saving craftsmen money and offering ultimate benefit with minimum effort.
The new fischer bits are made of special steel with a high degree of hardness (S2 mod.) and are therefore available in unbeatable quality. Their perfect fit ensures the ideal transmission of forces: the torque is being transmitted perfectly to the screw head and leaves these undamaged even when applying high torques - with clean and perfect work results. The heat-treated torsion zone of the high-grade and diamond versions cushion the loading peaks, substantially reducing the risk of breaking and increasing the tool life in many different applications. Craftsmen ultimately benefit from minimum material wear and high user convenience.
The fischer bits are on offer in three quality levels: Standard (Profi), Diamond and High-grade Steel, with as many as six types or drives being available: cross-slot (PH + PZ + dry construction), slot (SL), hexagon socket (HEX) and Torxâ (inner star). Compared with products supplied by competitors, fischer’s Torxâ bits have a shorter profile length, allowing the flanges of the profiles to expand earlier and “clamping” the bit better. The fit is excellent, also in screws with lower quality. The “play” is minimal and the screws can be turned in easily and the setting process is faster in total.
The bits of the diamond series are particularly worth highlighting. The diamond particles at the tip of the bit reduce the risk of slipping out and turning through (cam-out effect). While conventional bits tend to slip quickly out of the screw and often damage or destroy the head of the screw or the high-grade material surfaces, diamond bits sit tighter and safer inside the head of the screw, protecting both the screw and the surface of the material. Particularly for cross-slot bits (Pozidrive), the work results are substantially better.
The high-grade steel bits also boast unique properties. The increasing use of high-grade steel products in the fixings sector requires absolutely perfect craftsmanship. High-grade steel screw connections using conventional steel tools often result in undesirable pollution caused by abraded matter and scuffing (rust of extraneous rust), a problem which does not arise with fischer’s high-grade steel bits!
Practical packaging for practical work
Among the outstanding features are the resealable and variedly equipped plastic boxes with Euro hole template which only fischer offers. The 31-part bit sets with quick-change holders are particularly attractive. With their compact and robust shape and the practical belt clip, they are the ideal choice for work on site. The clear arrangement and the easy removal make work faster and more convenient at the building site. And another advantage: frequently used bits are duplicated.
